Documentarian Joanna Kohler will travel by motorcycle across the state of Minnesota collecting audio stories from people answering the question,
“When did you face fear and change your life?”
Still portraits and audio recordings will capture these moments of life and be crafted into a statewide story. We plan to distribute this program in a variety of ways, including podcasting.
The Logistics: Locations include Duluth, Rochester, Ely, Brainerd, Minneapolis and other locations as confirmed. Minnesotans will be interviewed in each city, providing lag time between stops to allow for the flexibility to follow any one story beyond a half-day interview.
The Network: The Kohler Productions Advisory Team, as well as friends and other collaborators, will provide the network of connections needed to bring this project to fruition.
The Schedule: A kick-off party will be held in mid June in Minneapolis where the details of this project will be celebrated. Joanna will maintain the blog with updates throughout this adventure. A closing Tour party will take place on third weekend in July, welcoming Joanna back to Minneapolis and celebrating stories, adventures and a safe return.
